OUR MISSION
Our aim is to provide convenient, practical and friendly spay-neuter surgery services, vaccinations, microchip implantation and basic wellness services to improve the lives of animals and to decrease animal overpopulation.
Snippet is financed through our service fees and private financial gifts.

Appointments

Need to make an appointment?

A $50 deposit is required to reserve a surgery appointment.
A $20 deposit is required to reserve a clinic appointment.
​
If an appointment is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the deposit becomes non-refundable. It will be applied as a contribution towards our Angel Fund/Spay-It-Forward Campaigns. This allows the deposit to continue to serve a positive purpose. ​

Spay/Neuter
Cats
SNIPPET cares deeply about the safety and well-being of cats in our community.
Spay-neuter, vaccinations, parasite protection and microchipping helps protect cats and supports a healthier community by reducing the number of unowned and unidentified cats. When lost cats can be identified through a microchip, they can be returned to their families quickly, easing the strain on shelters and community resources. Cats with microchips (and/or ear tips) are exempt from wearing the County license tag on a collar.
** It is, therefore, our policy to microchip all cats receiving spay-neuter surgeries at SNIPPET **
Friendly and feral cats, participating in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs are exempt from microchipping, as excision of the left ear tip will be performed under anesthesia as a universal sign of spay-neuter and rabies vaccination.

TNR Spay/Neuter: $50.00
Rabies vaccination, left ear tipping and flea treatment.
Cat Spay/Neuter: $120
Rabies vaccination, FVRCP (Herpes-Calici-Panleukopenia viruses) vaccination*, microchip, ear cleaning and nail trim.
*Booster vaccinations are recommended for kittens every 3 weeks until 4 months of age. Boosters are also recommended for adult cats receiving it's first set of vaccinations. (additional cost)

Dog Spay/Neuter: $275

*Booster vaccinations are recommended for puppies every 3 weeks until 4 months of age. Boosters are also recommended for adult dogs receiving it's first set of vaccinations. (additional cost)
